1Who can use Bongo
- You must be at least 18 years old. Bongo is for adults only. We don't knowingly allow anyone younger, and we close accounts we believe belong to a minor.
- You must give us true information when you sign up, including your real date of birth.
- One person, one account. Don't share your account, and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- You can't use Bongo if we've suspended you before, or if the law where you live doesn't allow it.
2Bongo is a beta
Bongo is in early testing with invited people. Features may change, break or disappear, and we may reset test features such as coins. We provide Bongo "as is", without promises that it will always be available, secure or free of errors.
3Your content
- You own what you create: your live video, chat messages, photos, posts and profile ("your content").
- So we can run Bongo, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, send, show and adapt your content (for example, resizing a photo) to operate, improve and protect Bongo. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep for safety or legal reasons (see the Privacy Policy).
- You must have the right to everything you share, including music, video and images, and the permission of everyone who appears on your camera.
- Live streams aren't recorded, but viewers can see and hear them in real time and could capture them with other tools. Share only what you're comfortable with.
4Rules and safety
You agree to follow the Community Guidelines. To keep people safe we:
- automatically check images from live streams, profile photos and posts, and chat messages, for content that breaks the rules;
- review reports from people who use Bongo;
- may remove content, end a live stream, limit features, or suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms or the guidelines, or that puts people at risk, with or without notice;
- report child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement as the law requires.
5Coins, gifts and subscriptions
- Coins, gifts, diamonds and subscriptions in Bongo are virtual items for fun. During the beta they're free: you can't buy them with real money, and they have no cash value. They can't be sold, traded, transferred outside Bongo or exchanged for money.
- Diamonds that streamers receive from gifts can't be cashed out today. If we add payouts in the future, they'll come with their own terms.
- We may change, limit or reset coins, gifts and subscriptions at any time, especially during the beta.
6Things you must not do
- Break the law, or help anyone else break it.
- Try to get around a suspension, block, limit or safety feature, including by making new accounts.
- Access Bongo with bots or scripts, scrape it, or interfere with how it works or its security.
- Pretend to be someone else, or mislead people about who you are.
- Collect other people's personal information, or share it without their consent.
7Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time under Me → Delete account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we stop offering Bongo. Sections 3 (the license for copies we must keep), 5, 8 and 9 continue after your account ends.
8Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, SoloJade LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for content other people share on Bongo. Our total liability for any claim about Bongo is limited to 100 US dollars. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
9Changes and contact
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use Bongo means you accept the new terms. Questions: legal@bongolive.app.
