1What Adelante is
Adelante helps you forecast your cash flow from the balances, recurring items and transactions you enter. It's a planning tool, not financial advice. Its forecasts are only as accurate as what you enter, and real banks, bills and paychecks don't always follow the plan. Check important numbers with your bank before relying on them.
2Your account
- Give a real email address you can receive mail at, and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- One person per account. You must be at least 13, or older where the law requires it.
3Your data
What you enter stays yours. You let us store and process it only to run Adelante for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can download or delete it at any time from the menu.
4Fair use
Don't use Adelante to break the law, don't try to get into other people's accounts or disrupt the service, and don't use automated tools to overload it.
5Free and Pro plans
Adelante's free plan includes forecasting, scenario planning, Insights and offline sync for up to 2 accounts, 12 months ahead, and may show ads. Adelante Pro removes ads and adds unlimited accounts, unlimited look-ahead, low-balance alerts and CSV export. Downloading all your data is free on every plan.
[Pro isn't on sale yet. Before it is: the price (planned at $2.99 a month or $19.99 a year), billing through the App Store, Google Play or our website, automatic renewal and how to turn it off, the free trial (planned: 7 days, for your first subscription only, turning into the plan you picked unless you turn off renewal before it ends), and refunds will be described here. If Pro ends, you keep everything you entered; you just can't add accounts past the free limit.]
6Availability
We work to keep Adelante running and your data safe, with nightly backups, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Adelante works offline and syncs when you reconnect; keep your devices up to date for the best results.
7Ending things
You can delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we ever shut Adelante down, we'll give you notice and time to download your data.
8Disclaimers and liability
Adelante is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, including decisions made based on a forecast, and our total liability is limited to [the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, or $X if more]. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that can't be limited.
9Changes and law
We may update these terms; if a change matters, we'll tell you in the app first. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA.
